It is funny to see how man people want copies of someone else’s tattoo, where is the originality in that? I think it is a good idea to look at designs to get a better idea of what you like and want, but a bit lame if you are only going to copy someone’s work. A tattoo should be a depiction of your own likes and ideas… Well that is only my 2c worth. Some great sleeves on here… Sitting at the shop at the moment while the artist is prepping for my shoulder piece. Have a great day tattoo lovers

Well, a chimpanzee tattoo cannot be included in the list of the most popular animal tattoo designs, but it is definitely a good concept. Chimps are very much responsive and unbelievably affectionate. They are known to be the animals, which are almost similar to human beings. However, they are not rational like us and hence cannot be regarded as our replacements.
As the name suggests, tattoos fall under this category are totally unrealistic. But totally bad ass. Using your imagination you can create any tattoo and perceive a meaning of your choice. These tattoos are also represented as “Unrealistic Tattoos“. You can simply transform your dream into a design and inked it on your body. It’s not just because a tattooed concept is permanent (although that certainly lends gravity to a symbolic idea). The process of tattooing is a ritual, essentially engraving a symbolic ideal into our being. When approached holistically, tattooing is an emotional, physical, spiritual and mental experience – a full-force experience that is truly permanent on all levels.
Sleeve Tattoo Pin Up Designs – Another well-appreciated design is the one which features pin-up girls, which make your sleeve look really attractive. I am personally a tattoo lover, and like to keep it simple as much as possible. One of the best ways of keeping the tattoo simple and good looking is by using geometric figures. While taking up the tattoo, one can use lines to draw the tattoo. This sort of tattoo suits more on the arm, wherein it looks like some design printed on your hands. This tattoo is often appreciated by people and this is the reason why it is one of the most popular forms of tattoos.
There is nothing like a great looking sleeve tattoo on a masculine arm to draw attention from all corners. Most well done sleeve tattoos for guys make them look more masculine and exude that charming effect especially on the women. Show off your sleeve tattoo in casual social gatherings by wearing a fitting t-shirt and you will attract all sorts of people, from the admirers and artistic souls to the openly envious ones. The wolf image is one of the most common in the world of tattoos. The word “wolf” comes from the old Germanic tribes and translated as a “fearless defender”. The high popularity of animal is explained by a controversial interpretation of this symbol, since it denotes both positive and negative meanings. It is associated with cruelty, cunning and even evil, as well as, with respect, strength, courage and longevity. The wolf tattoo is a good talisman, which suits strong and independent people.

What a great and learning read. I have always looked at the owl as mysterious and never really voiced why. I also have appreciated and enjoyed them when I have seen them and would gaze at the few I have seen as though in a trance, forgetting the time. And never really had a thought as to why? Was just one of those oh so many awe inspiring things in nature which always grabbed me.

The owl has been associated with many different ancient civilizations over time, all over the globe. The owl plays a part in Hindu, Egyptian, and Celtic lore and mythologies. These cultures believed that the owl was the protector and guardian of the dead and believed it was able to communicate with the departed. The Romans believed that an owl hooting atop a public building predicted the death of an important public figure. Because of this, the owl is commonly called the "angel of death" and believed to guide or carry recently-departed souls to the underworld. For ancient Greeks, the owl was sacred to Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom.

It is another most popular tattoo design, which is liked and appreciated by many especially the girls. In this tattoo, one can get different flower designs inked on their body; however the place where tattoo needs to be done depends on the size and shape of the tattoo. It also depends on the preference of an individual that where does he wishes to get the design done.

While pretty popular, you really can’t see a lot of owl tattoos. It’s a great choice if you want a beatiful yet unique tattoo, and the best part is that you have a lot of freedom, because an owl tattoo can look good in many shapes and sizes. In a lot of cultures the owl is a symbol of wisdom, intelligence and education, but it’s also associated with deity, freedom and independence. Celebrity with owl tattoo: Justin Bieber.

Remember how we said society is more accepting of sleeve tattoos now? While it is true, that doesn’t mean everyone is fine with them. For example, the United States Marines Corp. changed their policy in April 2007 to ban tattoo sleeves unless you got them before enlisting. There are also still plenty of employers who have a “no visible tattoo” policy but require a short-sleeve shirt uniform, which means you’re out of luck.
