If you are thinking about getting a tattoo, you will soon realize how many choices there are available to you. However, the type of tattoo that you choose will say a lot about you as a person. For instance, picking something like a skull or something similar may make people think that you have been in prison or that you at least consider yourself some sort of hard man. It does not necessarily make for a very pleasant thing to look at in the mirror. However, picking something a little more feminine, particularly if you are a man, might make you feel slight emasculated. What do you pick to maintain your masculinity without making it seem as though you are trying too hard?
I am soon to be starting my half sleeve. But am worried that my ideas for it don’t match together as a theme and might make the tattoo look terrible. I am getting a koi coming up the top part of my arm with cherry blossoms, with a film negative roll coming down and with 3 panels with freddy krugers glove in one, Michael Myers mask in another and Jason voorhees mash in the other. Does anyone have thoughts on this idea? I think it would be great but wouldn’t mind additional opinions.
Want a tattoo which symbolizes strength? Then this probably won’t come as a surprise, but a lion tattoo is a logical choice. The king of the animals is famous for its ridiculous power, but it’s also a symbol of wisdom, justice and dignity. In ancient Greece lions were viewed as guardians, while in Egypt Sekhmet, the warrior goddess was depicted as a lioness. Celebrities with lion tattoo: Shemar Moore, Robbie Williams.

One of the most popular choices among full tattoo sleeve ideas and designs is the original Maori tattoo designs, which feature common tribal elements like – spirals. With an animal tattoo you can express yourself in a lot of ways, depending on the animal you choose for a tattoo. For example, cats are associated with mystery and independence, while dogs are associated with faithfulness and protection. If you want an animal tattoo which symbolizes power and strength, you should go with an elephant tattoo, or if you’re looking for a symbol of guardianship and loyalty, the wolf is a great choice. Celebrites with animal tattoo: Adam Levine, Johnny Depp, Ed Sheeran.

Victor J. Webster writes that he “fell in love with Pacific Island tattoos at an early age,” and says that his work is “tied to the Pacific Ocean, whether from Polynesia, Indonesia, Micronesia, Japan, and Southeast Asia.” Patterns are a large part of his tattooing portfolio, and he inks traditional Pacific Island motifs onto the skin. Here, he’s cleverly integrated a bold design into the rest of the arm by gradually removing parts of the design, so that piece by piece, it fades away.
It’s no secret, I love tattoos. So much so, I’ve decided to devote a section of this website to meaningful tattoo ideas based on symbolism found in ancient/indigenous cultures around the world. This is really just an extension of the work I’ve been doing throughout whats-your-sign.com for the last seven years (and hopefully, for many years to come).
The sleeve tattoos for men are very expressive. Any man spotting a sleeve tattoo is viewed as open-minded and less likely to be alarmed by any controversial topics that might be discussed. With that impression, the people around them will be more open because they view the man as expressive and bold since they were bold enough to get a sleeve tattoo and show it off to the world in the first place. The sleeve tattoo can be a unique expression of what one stands for or their personal story depending of course on the design.
